Tutorial | Travelers Notebook Cover with Pockets | Simply Made Crafts

I love to document life, but scrapbooking can take up a lot of time and space…here is a better way to record it all in a small space…

Scrapbooking the traditional way with 12×12 layouts has been a hobby of mine for around 20 years. Over this time I have bought all the stuff that comes with it – the massive albums to hold your pages, the beautiful collections, and alphabet sheets. I bought all the scrapbooking magazines – if it was scrapbooking related, then I had it! After a while these things take up space, and making a scrapbook layout on a 12×12, or even a double spread would take me a lot of time and effort.

Then I discovered the magic of travelers notebooks! These are much smaller than 12×12 and you can tuck all your memories, thoughts, and photos into small books that tuck nicely into a cover. This has been a game changer for me. It’s just the right size, with the right amount time I have to record things down.

Travelers notebooks, or TNs for short can be used in multitude of ways – planning, bullet journaling, memory planning, mini scrapbooking, or just plain journaling.

Below I show you how to assemble my TN cover – this cover will take 4 standard size TN notebooks and works perfectly with my Fabric Paper.
