Christmas Sunset Forest Card – Using Lovely As A Tree

I had quite a bit of fun making the background for this card. These last few weeks I have decided to step up my cardmaking a little and get more artistic with them – so there will be plenty more ahead.

I used the sponge daubers to make the sky, starting with the lightest blue and then building up the darker colour. I used long horizontal sweeps to achieve the sky and then small circles for the yellow, orange and red shades of the sunset. All the colours I used are listed down below. I then heat embossed the ‘Happy Christmas’ in gold – make sure your card is thoroughly dry from the background ink before you add your embossing powder.

Don’t forget our Extravaganza that is in full swing at the moment. There’s up to 40% off on lots of products and some will be retiring – so while stocks last. You don’t want to wait if there’s something you want. Also, don’t forget to use this month’s hostess code to get even more Stampin’Up! product through your letterbox! Product List

Hostess Code Club – do you like free gifts?

All orders over £25 (before shipping & handling) & using this month’s Hostess Code at checkout will receive a Hostess Gift from me. If your order is over £150, please do not use this code – you can claim your own Stampin’ Rewards.
All online orders under £150 will collect Stampin’ Rewards (free product) throughout the month. Your order is processed as normal, with it being delivered to your house as usual, so nothing changes there. But, at the end of the month, I close off the code and work out how many people have placed orders and divide the total Stampin’ Rewards between them all, making sure that everyone has exactly the same products.

However, the more people who join the code, the higher the rewards go because everyone is pulling together towards a common goal!

This month’s code can be found at the top right of this page or on the home page
