8th Day Of Christmas 2016 – Giftbox Punch Board Snowflake Box Tutorial

Welcome to the 8th Day of Christmas

Day 8’s project is a lovely sized gift box and it’s made using our gift box punch board. These are so easy to make and you can make and decorate a bunch of them in advance. They will even store flat and when you are ready to fill them, you just need to stick the sides together.

Now I didn’t exactly follow the instructions on the board. I kept with the XL measurement, but I left out the diagonal line and trimmed where I needed with my snips. It’s all explained on the video tutorial.

As the box opening is at the bottom, I wouldn’t put anything too heavy in there – just in case. A mug would be ok, or in my case – some handmade crochet mittens.

Dimensions

Finished Size: 4 x 4 x 4″

Box: one 12×12 Cardstock – Score on the XL line and miss out the diagonal score line. Score the other two as instructed

Mats: 3.75″ – You will need five of these

Thank you for visiting day 3’s project. If you have enjoyed today, please subscribe to my blog on the right and/or my YouTube channel so you don’t miss the rest of the series.
