A Perfect Autumn Day Scrapbook Page – Simply Sketched Saturday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for another Simply Sketched Saturday Challenge! We’re so excited to be sharing this hop with you. The products used are all available in the current Annual, or seasonal, Stampin’ Up!® Catalogues. Simply use the buttons at the bottom of the post to keep hopping!

This month we have no sketch!! What happened? We were given free range of the subject of ANYTHING GOES! So I decided to do a scrapbook page as I really need to catch up on the last 8 years – and a lot of life has happened in that time. It’s also officially autumn…so here is my challenge result for September.

I used the Vintage Leaves stamp set for my background (on Kraft 12×12). I also stamped and heat embossed (gold & copper) on vellum to make my many leaves. Using a sponge dauber, I went round all 4 sides with cherry cobbler ink. I also used the sponge dauber to colour the gaps in the leaves with a different accent colour.

For my wording and embellishments I used accents from the Project Life Hello Lovely Accessory pack. These packs are perfect for any sort of scrapbooking – whether it’s Project Life or traditional.

Thank you for joining us today – I hope you are enjoying all the lovely projects. Next up we have Anna – I wonder what she has made?

If you liked today’s page and would like to copy it, I would love to see your page. You can share/post your photos via my facebook page or hashtag me #helengriffinuk. I love seeing all your photos – it really makes my day!
