9th Birthday Card with Cupcakes & Carousel DSP Stack

I wanted to make a quick and simple card that uses patterned paper – sometimes we all need ideas on how to add paper to our cards, so here is my first offering.

For this card, I have chosen to use the sunburst (?) themed paper from the 6×6 Cupcakes & Carousel paper stack (currently on sale at £6.30 until stocks last). Using the centre of the sunburst, I added my round sentiment and added a bow made with paper from the same stack.

This was how I planned to finish the card, but my daughter said she really loved it and asked if I would add a 9 to it and give it to her for her birthday. So, once she was safely tucked in bed ( I say safely, as no chance of peeking!), I added the 9 and tucked the card safely away to await her birthday. I am glad she asked me for this card, as I would never have thought she’d like it! She likes girly things too, so I will make her an extra one with pink sparkles.
