10th Day of Christmas | Heat Embossing Festive Glasses

Now today’s project is one you need to be brave enough to try and I will encourage you to give it a go! I will be showing you how to heat emboss on a drinking glass and it’s kinda fun 🙂

There are a few things to bear in mind, so here are a few tips to get you started…

  • Use a thick glass and clean off any finger marks with a cloth
  • Prepare the area with an anti-static powder tool
  • The glass will heat up so try not to touch it
  • Keep the heat tool moving, so it’s not concentrated on one area for too long
  • If you get worried you might be heating it too much, turn off your heat tool and come back after it’s cooled off slightly
  • Leave it alone to cool down by itself – it won’t get lonely
  • Don’t touch the embossed area until it has cooled as it may smudge
